About Matt Skinner

Matt Skinner, a leading real estate entrepreneur in Southern California for over 12 years, currently serves as Director of Twelvestone Capital, Inc. and its group of funds.

Identifying the shrinking credit market, Mr. Skinner organized Twelvestone Capital, Inc. as a private equity firm specializing in the purchase of undervalued assets.  In the present market, Twelvestone Capital is buying quality assets for cash flow in emerging markets. Twelvestone Capital also participates in the market as a private lender originating private money loans for other investors acquiring and rehabbing distressed assets.

Mr. Skinner began his real estate investment career in 2001 buying, fixing and selling dilapidated houses in the Los Angeles marketplace and soon progressed into the development of hillside custom homes, shopping centers and multifamily properties.  Mr. Skinner’s award winning construction company produced over $9 million in annual revenue during the “roaring” 2000’s and employed over 50 people.  He has directly overseen the construction and development of over $50 million in assets.

Mr. Skinner is a recognized speaker and trainer on investment strategies.  He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and competitive combat sports and is an active member on the board of Triumph Foundation (www.Triumph-Foundation.org ), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people with spinal cord injuries triumph over their injury.

Mr. Skinner and his wife Christina enjoy spending time with their three young children, Charlotte, William, and Madeline.
